Categories of Use
1 Statutory user - e.g. School or L.A. based activities are free of charge
2 Community User - Educational or Community based activities are based on a charge to cover costs only
3 Private User - Use of premises for commercial or other private use such as parties etc.
General Information Governors Local Lettings Policy
1 All lettings (whichever category of user) will be undertaken on the basis that in any event the school should not be in a detrimental financial position following permission for a letting.
2 All hirers should complete a standard booking form to be signed by the Community Use Co-ordinator – Diane Wogden.
3 Designated Users will not be charged fees in excess of those required to cover the school’s costs for provision of the premises.
4 Commercial hirers charges will be levied at the discretion of the Headteacher and should take into consideration the nature of the use of the premises.
5 All bookings to be approved on the understanding that charges for additional caretaking and/or cleaning may be levied after the booking has been held if necessary.
