Health and Social Care

The Health and Social curriculum aims to provide an outstanding experience, which enriches students’ ambition, engagement and interest in the Health and Social Care sector. The curriculum intends to build on student’s skills, knowledge, understanding which has been introduced in their Primary and PSHE curriculum and will then be developed with a focus on Health and Social Care. We strive to ensure all students will understand how humans develop across all life-stages and explore all the different factors that have an impact on their development. Students will be taught about different acute and chronic illnesses and gain an understanding of different types of roles within the Health and Social Care sector that support these illnesses.
