Yesterday afternoon Mrs Bamber and I had the privilege of accompanying three U16 teams to Wellington School for badminton. Out of the 12 students, 9 were playing in their first ever competitive fixture.
Stand out performances came from Jessica M, who won 3 out of 4 games against some tough competition. The one game lost was a close 21-19…
Max H, playing up a year, showed excellent skill and determination and had some of the best rallies I have seen for a while.
