New Head Boy and Girl and Ambassadors announced

We’ve appointed our school Ambassadors for the forthcoming academic year and selected the new Head Boy and Head Girl.

Alfie Coker and Lottie Rigamonti have been chosen for the coveted roles following a rigorous selection process that has taken many weeks. They will be supported by Sam Williams and Laura Copsey as deputy heads. They are part of a team of Ambassadors that will represent a public face for the school, attending school and local community events.

To become an Ambassador there is an initial application process followed by interviews, leading to a final interview and selection of the senior roles.

Lottie Rigamonti said: “I am beyond delighted and incredibly honoured to be appointed Head Girl. I am certain that I will work extremely hard to support our school community.”

Alfie Coker added: “I am extremely proud to have been appointed the role of Head Boy for the next academic year. I’m looking forward to working with Lottie and the Ambassador team as a whole over the next year and can’t wait to make THS an even better place for all students.”

In addition we have announced that Harvey Skeggs and Ana Curtis will be Sports Captains, with Josh Vanstone and Ruby Clarke as Vice Sports Captains, and Ellie-May Coussell and Rosie Matthews will be Interact President and Interact Vice President.

Head teacher Sammy Crook said: “These are important roles within the school and every candidate must show us that they are up to the challenge. All of those in these prestigious roles should be very proud of their achievements, and I’m looking forward to a wide range of projects the Ambassador team will be involved with in school and in the local community.”
