Our Y9 and Y10 girls played their first game of the season in the National Cup on Friday 4th November. The girls came up against a well organised and motivated team from Coombshead Academy. The girls unfortunately started slowly and paid for this by conceding two early goals. When the girls believed in themselves and pressurised their opponents they did very well. Great pressuring by Molly Legg and Jenna Copsey forced their opposition into mistakes.
We have a very talented team but unfortunately it just did not click when it mattered. Heads up girls, commit from the off and you will succeed.
