On Monday afternoon, we took 16 year 7 and 8 students to Clyst Vale for some friendly competition. For 13 of the students, it was their first taste of competitive badminton. After hours and hours of honing their skills at Badminton Club, it was time to put them to the test in a series of singles and doubles matches.
It was an excellent afternoon, with all matches played in a positive, encouraging environment. There were some really close matches across all the teams, with several games being decided by a single point. Player of the day went to Max M for winning four out of four games.
