Careers Curriculum

Careers Curriculum BM1

Our careers curriculum has the full backing of our Headteacher Miss Nicky Lewis ad our Chair of Governors, Jim Porteous.

Our curriculum meets the needs of all students, including SEND and Disadvantaged students

  • All disadvantage students are given financial support to enable students to attend careers enrichment activities, including college discovery days.
  • All disadvantage students are supported with making contact with work experience providers.
  • All disadvantage students are given priority for careers advice appointments and picked up if they do not attend. They have unlimited access to our careers adviser.
  • SEND students receive further support in lessons where learning is matched to need and SEND students have further support in next steps by having extra careers support
